Default Colibri to SeeYou

I'm having a problem trying to download flights from my
Colibri to SeeYou

when I plug my colibri into the laptop the mouse is demobilelized on
the top of the screen. when I get in to seeyou connection wizard it
always freezes with a white screen.

has anyone had this problem? how do you fix it?

Thanks

Devin

Have you tried this solution:
http://www.seeyou.ws/forum/messages/...tml?1084464804

....which incidentally is posted in the "Connection to GPS" section of
the SeeYou forum on the SeeYou homepage. Nudge nudge, wink wink, know
what I mean?

I just tried that now but it still does not work, however, when I press
the center button on the colibri and the "waiting connect" display
comes up on the lcd, it allows my mouse (touch pad) to be operational

any other hints

If you are using Activesync on your laptop, try disabling that. I had a
similar problem once and that fixed it. If you aren't using Activesync, I've
got no idea!

Are you using a USB convertor? What version of windows? Quite often
windows sees the data stream from a serial port as a mouse, your
Colibri has control of your PC! Ah! The joys of 'Plug and Pray'.
The way around this involves dropping into control panel and disabling
the 'phantom' mouse in the device list and differs per versions of
windows.

I'm also running xp from a dell d600, with SeeYou 2.x (last version before
3.0).
On an earlier 2.y version I had the Colibri sometimes connecting flawlessly,
sometimes not at all and SeeYou hanging up.
Now it seems to connect more often than it does not, but it takes a very
long time to do so.

So far, I could retrieve every single flight I wanted to for the last two
years, but I never knew why...
