Default IGC-approval of two new types of recorder

I am pleased to announce the IGC-approval of two new types of GNSS
Flight Recorder. This followed test and evaluation by the IGC GNSS
Flight
Recorder Approval Committee (GFAC) in accordance with Annex B to the
Sporting Code and the Specification for IGC-approved GNSS Flight
Recorders.

The new types of recorder a

1. IMI Erixx V1.0

The IGC-approval documents will appear on the FAI gliding/GNSS web
pages shortly.

This brings the number of IGC-approved recorder types to 41, from 16
different manufacturers. For all of the existing IGC-approval
documents,

This contains a link to a document with a table of all types of IGC-
approved Flight Recorders, a table of Manufacturers, a list of all
IGC-
approval activity since 1996, and a short history of IGC GNSS Flight
Recording. An updated version of this PDF document adding the new
IGC-
approval has been sent to the webmaster and will also appear shortly.

However, please note that the links to the individual IGC-approval
documents in the above PDF document do not work in Internet Explorer.
