I guess I didn't recall it correctly. The correct name of the TV
series is: Odyssey 5

The show's concepts are thought provoking and the FX are well done for

While on a mission aboard the space shuttle Odyssey, five
astronauts witness the sudden and violent destruction of the
entire planet. They survive the onslaught and come across an alien
entity, an inorganic being known as The Seeker. The Seeker informs
them that he has been on a search for contact with other worlds
since the destruction of his own planet. Each time, he arrives too
late and the planet is already destroyed.

He offers them the opportunity to have their consciousness sent
back in time five years in an attempt to discover the source of
the tragedy and prevent it. Once back on Earth in the past and
their old bodies, they discover that the likely villains are a
race known as Synthetics, an artificial intelligence developed by
humans and accidentally released over the internet.

As they try to prevent the horrifying future they must deal with
the issues they lived through before. They alter their past
decisions hoping their knowledge of the future will make for a
better outcome.
