I do miss the sound of the gears whirling as they spin the hand of the altimeter into a blur. Best ROC I've had during camp was 27 kts. Released at 6 and hit the ceiling 5 minutes later. Parked it at 18k with the gear down and spoilers open to stay legal while someone on the ground contacted ATC to open the wave area. Have fun and fly safe.
