anybody who visited the Royal International Air Tattoo last weekend ?

Went on Friday. Frequent showers but was OK in the afternoon. Heres some
shots of the B-1b which just departed, flew off somewhere, and landed :-)

what camera did you use ?


Canon 10D, 70-200L lens + 1.4x Teleconverter. Can't beleive I clipped the
wing tip off on the burner shot. :-)

guess i missed a good show ;-(


Well, the rain was a bitch. Got two shots of the F-18F as it held on the
runway then the heavens opened again. It put on a great display though. The
rain stopped as it was on finals. Doh!

From other photos I've seen, departures day was the best. A lot of stuff
failed to show up on the saturday & sunday. The B-2 made its usual one and
only fly-past. Still, theres always next year.
