For sale is a "VFW 614 Flight Handbook including LBA approved Flight
Manual", Volume 1, Operating Information, Fokker-VFW International,
original release August 1974.
This handbook contains information on certificate limitations,
emergency, abnormal and normal procedures, flight and ground handling,
loading, and checklist for the VFW-614 regional jet with the serial
number 010 and the registration D-BABJ. The general introduction
includes a three view drawing with dimensions of the unconventional
aircraft design, which featured two Rolls Royce/SNECMA turbofan
engines pylon mounted above the wings. Other drawings, diagrams and
schematics throughout the handbook illustrate various aircraft systems
and installations and associated cockpit controls, such as the
hydraulic system, the landing gear and nose wheel steering, elevator,
rudder and stabilizer trim, flap control, ground and flight spoilers,
wheel brakes and anti skid, bleed air supply and pressurization, air
conditioning, fuel system, engine indications, auxiliary power unit,
electrical system, constant speed drive, windshield heating and
airframe ice protection, crew and passenger oxygen systems, and
others.
Since only 16 of these aircraft were ever built, this handbook is very
rare and hard to find and constitutes a document reflecting a piece of
little known aviation history.
The handbook consists of a set of loose leaf sheets in a hardcover
binder, which is 9 ¾" x 11 ½" tall and 3" thick.

For sale is a report on "DC-10 Design Features", McDonnell Douglas
Corporation, Douglas Aircraft Division, Long Beach, CA, Report
DAC-61556A, 27 May 1968.
This report contains a detailed description of the DC-10 three engine
wide body passenger jet. It consists of an introduction and 20
sections on topics and design features such as aerodynamic design and
flying qualities, power plant, structural design, landing gear, cabin
interiors, environmental control, flight guidance and control system,
instrumentation and avionics, electrical power system, hydraulics,
reliability, and maintainability. The introduction outlines the main
characteristics and data and includes a two view drawing with
dimensions of the aircraft design. Other drawings, diagrams,
schematics and photographs throughout the handbook illustrate various
aircraft systems and installations, such as wing planform and flap and
slat configuration, engine configuration and installation, fuel
system, structure, fuselage sections, landing gear and nose gear
steering system, pneumatic system, air conditioning, ice protection,
crew and passenger oxygen systems, flight compartment, flight
controls, antenna arrangement, electrical power system, exterior
lighting, hydraulic system, operational flight profile, and others.
The report in landscape format has a total of 374 pages and is 8 ½" x
11" tall and 1 ¼" thick. The cover pages are slightly damaged and
soiled, and the front cover contains a stamp of a previous owner as
well as the remark "DC-10" in red felt pen, while one side is marked
"DC-10 Design" and another "DC-10" in felt pen, but the interior pages
are in good condition.

For sale is a brochure "The Douglas DC-8 Super 60's and DC-9 Series
Airplanes", Douglas Aircraft Division, Long Beach, California,
December 1965, 6-47.
This brochure contains information on the Douglas DC-8 and DC-9
airliners as well as on the organization and production facilities of
the Douglas Aircraft Company. Sections on the general arrangement show
two view drawings of various models, and other drawings illustrate
various interior arrangements. Black and white photographs and
performance and cost diagrams are also included.
The softbound brochure has a total of 44 pages and is 7" x 11" tall.
It is in good condition.
The price is $8.

For sale is a brochure "G-111", Grumman Aerospace Corporation.
This brochure details information on the G-111, which is the civilian
version of the HU-16 Albatross amphibian airplane. It discusses
various features of the aircraft, such as the interior layout, the
flight deck performance and payload flexibility, and also addresses
potential future developments, such as a water bomber variant and a
turboprop powered version. The brochure contains a colored three view
drawing of the airplane and is illustrated throughout with color
photographs.
The softbound brochure in landscape format has a total of 17 pages and
is 8 ½" x 11" tall. The back cover is slightly creased, but the
document is in otherwise good condition.

For sale is a brochure "Fokker F.28 Fellowship Twin Turbofan
Transport", Royal Netherlands Aircraft Factories Fokker.
This brochure details information on the F.28 short range airliner and
addresses aspects such as a general description, main data,
accommodation, cargo compartments, cockpit, powerplant, systems,
maintenance and service, airport handling, performances and economics.
performance summary, utilization of C-141A parts, inboard profiles,
and others. Illustrative and text charts are complemented by facing
page descriptive texts. The general description section contains a
three view drawing of the airplane with dimensions as well as a
cutaway drawing, and other drawings and schematics show various
interior arrangements as well as different systems, such as the
electronic equipment, the electrical system, the fuel system, the
hydraulic system and performance capabilities.
The softbound brochure has a total of 32 pages and is 8 ¼" x 11" tall.
Apart from a mark in one corner of the title page, the document is in
otherwise good condition.

For sale is a brochure "Nord 262", Supplement AiRevue, Nord Aviation,
15 May 1965.
This brochure details information on the Nord 262 twin turboprop
commuter transport and addresses aspects such as development including
a silhouette and data comparison between the Nord 262 and the DC-3,
description, handling, utilization, maintenance, operations,
production, propulsion, equipments, and sales. maintenance and
service, airport handling, performances and economics. The description
section contains a three view drawing of the airplane, and other
drawings and diagrams illustrate various interior arrangements as well
as a cutaway view of an engine and an exploded view of the major
aircraft components, while black and white photographs show various
views and details of the aircraft, such as the cockpit.
The softbound brochure has 24 pages and is 8 ¾" x 11 ½" tall. Apart
from a slight crease and small tear on the front cover and a crease in
the back cover, the document is in otherwise good condition.
The price is $6.
