Default B2000

Are there any B2000 users out there in the western US. Have some
questions about functionallity compared to SN10 etc. Contest tasks?
How has support been.

thanks

I have had a B2000 for over three years now. Some early teething troubles
with software have been overcome and it now performs very well.

The basic functions are very easy to use and the navigation window is very
intuitive. The wind algortihms seem excellent - especially the non-circling
"zig-zag", which is suefuil for recalculating winds on long final glides.
Final glide calculations seem accurate for my ASW 20.

Handling of AST and PST tasks is easier than the SN-10, in my opinion. The
B 2000 will handle TATs, but without the "what if" options the SN-10 gives
you. Apparently, an upgrade is in the works to add more features to TAT
tasking.

The final page of reachable landing sites has saved my bacon a few times - a
really great feature.
