Yup, that guy was gonna turn left to the taxiway.
Those pics were taken the day before the 50th anniversary of the first
flight of a T-2. Good thing I went to the practice session because the
actual anniversary flyover by 7 T-2C's in formation didn't take place. On
the 31st the weather was too bad, Tom

Hey, it's not easy talking to the plane captain/crew chief about starting an
engine. That wrist action requires the reflexes and dexterity of a fighter
pilot. Here we see him starting the starboard engine (which was first), Tom
