Default Tripe Tree Aerodrome Fly-In

Triple Tree Aerodrome Fly-In, LLC of Greenville, SC (serving the
entire Upstate Region
of South Carolina, parts of Georgia and North Carolina) wishes to
announce TRIPLE TREE - A DIFFERENT KIND OF FLY-IN. This is an event
that the Fly-In Committee hopes will turn into an annual event with
the theme
Fun, Fellowship and Hospitality for the entire family.

The dates this year for the fly-in are Wednesday through Saturday,
September 26th, 27th, 28th and 29th. And the fly-in will be held at
the Triple Tree Aerodrome, home of the annual Joe Nall Giant Scale RC
Fly-in, near Woodruff, SC. Admission will be limited to licensed
pilots, EAA, AOPA or AMA (Academy of Model Aeronautics) Members and
their guests.

Plan your Triple Tree Fly-In experience to include the big Friday
Night Barbecue Dinner where you will have your choice of barbecued
chicken or barbecued pork, along with shrimp cocktail, coleslaw and
beans. We will be serving the best cookies available in the Carolinas
that evening as well. Beverages of many varieties will be included.
The best hangar flying in the region will happen that evening!!

Saturday morning, the 29th a Pancake Breakfast will be held.

Some the features of the Triple Tree Aerodrome a
7,000 feet of the finest grass runway to be found east of
the Mississippi River.
Acres of space to tie down your aircraft and camp with your
aircraft
or drive your motor home and park at the Fly-In.
A 50 acre pond for landing your amphibian or catch-and-release
fishing.
Miles and miles of hiking trails.
Shower facilities with plenty of hot water.
Food and Beverage Vendors will be available during the Fly-In.

You will find the Triple Tree Aerodrome under the FAA Identifier of
SC00. Or use the coordinates of N 34º 40.464' and W 82º 00.087'.
The Multi-Comm frequency is 122.900 MHz. Aircraft must be tied down
so bring your own equipment. You can drive in as well. Triple Tree
is located about five miles south of Woodruff, SC off of US Highway
221 and Mary Hanna Road. Check the FAQ's at www.tripletreeaerodrome.com
for the arrival procedure.

As you fly in to Triple Tree, the first land mark that you will see is
the recently restored tower that was painstakingly moved from what was
formerly known as Donaldson Air Force Base to Triple Tree. The tower
has a history dating back to the early days of World War II.
