You wont believe the price... Rare APH-5 flight helmet worn by the legendary boat and race driver in his 1964 attempt recently was sold on ebay... "This is the ORIGINAL helmet worn by DONALD CAMPBELL during his attempts to break the Land Speed Record at Lake Eyre in South Australia in 1964. Campbell did eventually break the record in his Bluebird-Proteus CN7 as it reached an average speed of 403.135 mph (648.783 kph) on 17th July 1964."
