Default Headsets

Hi,
I want to buy an Headset. I have two offers: a Sennheiser HME100 and a
David Clark H10-60. Both are used but in excellent conditions. Price
about the same. Which it is better?

Thanks

Davy Clarks are famous for their warranty service. Having owned a set
for four years, I understand why: they never need service!

my understanding is that they make a 10-60 for helicopters and fixed wing
and the "gimmik" for the 10-60's is that your can switch out the cord for
either rotary or fixed wing aircraft.

It is the 10-56 that is made for helicopters. One nice thing about the
10-56 is the slightly larger earcups which have slightly more deadening
material in them making them even more effective and noise
protection...then add the ENC and they are great.

There is nothing - absolutely nothing - half so much worth doing
as simply messing around with airplanes.
