Default Replacement Cabin Knobs

I am in search of a source for replacement knobs for carb heat and cabin
air controls (defrost, cabin heat) for a Piper Cherokee. Mine have
cracked and fallen apart (or are close to it), and need to be replaced.

I search in some usual places for plastic parts, and can't find them.
Does anyone have any suggestions for a source?

Thanks,
JKG

Isn't there a FAR that allows owner-operators to MAKE parts for their
aircraft? This would seem like the perfect candidate for that.

Several years ago, I had to get replacements for the Air/ Defrost controls
for my Seneca. To my surprise, the OEM parts cost only a few dollars each,
from Penn Jersey Piper. Have you priced the OEM parts (you are talking about
the small knobs with a setscrew, right?). HTH

What is the shaft diameter that they are going to fit on?

Join the Cherokee Pilots Assn and you can get a whole bunch of useful
info on operating your bird. Have you tried Wentworth?
