Default Lowrance 2000C weather!

FYI to those (many) lowrance users that would like to have Wx on their
Lowrance 2000C.....

OK.. here is the best I have.

I talked to the XM people as well as the Lowrance reps..

I was directed to the "man" at XM, who, after determining that I was
"really serious" in this mission, told me that they were in almost
daily contact with Lowrance on getting Wx into the 2000C.

ALL discussion stopped on "the day that Navico bought Lowrance".

The expectation is that , - IF EVER, Wx will be a new unit
replacing the 2000C, not as an upgrade to the 2000C

The Av division is pushing Navico for some new Av stuff, and would
dearly like our help...

SO..

here it is... as best I can determine....

"DA MAN" that calls these things at Navico is Mr. John Bay, Director
of Sales for Navico in North America.

His address is

Phone is 918-437-6881

Mail him, call him...whatever...

I am sending the mail, and going to spend my dime on the phone...

A 2000C with XM Wx would be the killer Portable GPS IMHO..

Ahhhh...

...... but this is at the suggestion of The Lowrance reps!

It is called.... "Encouraging customer feedback"....

And if "thousands" write /contact him to give this feedback, he would
have a really clear idea for the new product, right?

If I am the only one....well..I guess that will send a message as
well...

But people contacting a company and saying "if you add this option to
your product, I would buy it" certianly should not upset him....

A marketers dream....
