ActiveSync for Vista
Greetings from a new member. I read the previous posts regarding this
subject but did not discern a consensus. I have a new laptop with Vista and an old PDA (Ipaq5555) with PocketPC2003. ActiveSync 4.x is designed for Vista, but doesn't support PocketPC. (supposedly) Must I convert the 5555 to Windows Mobile in order to sync it with my Vista laptop? Will older versions of ActiveSync work on Vista? I have to reload WinPilot on the 5555 after a hard reset.--Dennis |

ActiveSync for Vista
I started using Vista two weeks ago. I'm using a 6 year old IPAQ 3650
with CE 2.0. I'm connect it to my laptop using a USB cable. Last week I had to reinstall Winpilot and used the Windows Mobile Device Center that comes with Vista. It is the replacement for ActiveSync. Give it a try. |
