Default more than ten bucks for a magazine

I've been tracking auctions for copies of Soaring Magazine for the past
few months. Something comes up for sale about once a week, which is
more than I would have expected for such a minor periodical. The
biggest surprise I have seen so far is the bidding war over a 1949
issue; the price went to $10.38 when all was said and done.
