Default J3 fuel valve

Does anyone know the size of the ports on the fuel valve used in the J-3?

I need to get a field approval to substitute a no longer available shut off
valve in another aircraft.

If the openings are 1/4 NPT I think I could use that valve.

Thanks

Paul

Oh, I'm getting the hot dogs ready for the flame war I see on the immediate
horizon.
