Default Glidfng near Hurricane, West Virginia?

Hi gentlemen,

a friend of me is currently staying as an excange student at
Hurricane, West Virginia (close to Charleston).

He's still searching for a possibility to continue soaring there and
Google didn't find any.

Any ideas?

Thanks in advance
Andreas

Andreas,

He could use the SSA, www.ssa.org , website and click
on 'Where to Fly'.

The two places I can think of are not in West Virginia:
Caesar Creek in Ohio and Blue Ridge Soaring Society
in Virginia. No, they would not be convenient, but
they might be the closest clubs.

I used to live close to Hurricane, and my daughter stilll does. The
closest soaring site is Ceasar's Creek, just north east of Cincinnatti,
Ohio. It would be a 3 hour drive, but that's the closest and they have
camping on the field. The next closest would be COSA in Marion, Ohio.
Still 3 hours or more.
