Default Cambridge 302 problem..HELP Please

My 302 seems to work OK at 60 knots but when i fly 80 knots it indicates 10
knots lift (it is set up for super netto). The total energy is set at 0% as
per instructions. It is not set up for electronic compensation. I checked
for leaks in the TE probe and tubing and found none. I just had it
upgraded to the USB port and the software fixed so it would not "fill
up" the flight log storage. Has anyone had this kind of problem? any
ideas?
thanks.

BTW - can anyone explain the difference between Netto and Super-Netto
settings? If I ever knew I have since forgotten.

"Super Netto" is Cambridge speak for a vario that shows you the climb
(or sink) you would achieve if you slowed to thermaling speed. It's a
cute idea... but it adds another area of "compensation" on an already
highly compensated system. You'll probably find as I do that the
device works best for thermal entry transients when it's set to good
old total energy.

More simply, super netto = netto - 200 fpm. I use it, unlike T8. If
I'm going 100 knots in 1 kt up air, I want the vario to say -1kt, not
-6 kts, and remind me to slow down. Real netto would do that too, but
I find myself losing track of which mode it's in so I fly too slow.
Some put the needle on TE and the audio on speed to fly, but I find
that confusing too.
