Do ADF need replacing if changing the receiver?
If you install another ADF, like a KR-87, you will need a new antenna.
I wouldn't waste money on a 85. Here is a nice one: http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...tegory=26 436

Audio is ok so either sticking pointer or driver circuit in the receiver. Hopefully repairable but just wondered if a replacement would be economical or need the full works!.
