I just learned about Ryan Vihlen's downwind dash on Easter, in his dad's 1-26. Sweet flight!

It was a really fun day, but not a cake walk for Ryan. Those low saves were nail biters. I enjoyed driving through the countryside in air conditioned comfort though. Safe to day that we both enjoyed ourselves.

Congratulations! I am also impressed that you can dissemble your 1-26 and have it on the trailer in 30 minutes!

like any glider, knowing the glider and trailer well and having the right (not too many not too few) number of knowledgable people helps make assembly and dis assembly a piece of cake.
