Default Kitplanes CD-ROM directory

Is there a store or other source that still has old copies of the Kitplanes
magazine CD-ROM that has a database / search facility for kit aircraft? The
magazine no longer sells the information in a CD format, so I am looking for
suggestions.

Go to the EAA website and order a copy of The Aerocrafter. You get a
reference book plus a database of amateurbuilt aircraft on CD.

I have two of the CD's of which one is older than the other, I
might part with the earlier one. I know Ms. Downie who lives here
in town and I could ask her if she has extra copies.

I see that the magazine has figured out how to make more money.
maybe you have already been here.

Thanks - I think that will fit the bill perfectly. I didn't realize that
EAA had a similar offering.

Yes, I noticed that. I am not too interested in the recurring fee
associated with periodic searches of their web database....that's why I was
looking for a CD copy (buy once & use many times instead of continuous
fees). I think I'll take Nuke's suggestion and get a copy of Aerocrafter
from the EAA.

Thanks,
David
