What if NK said they had some sort of nuke Doomsday Bomb capable of contaminating a large part of Asia and it was hidden and in NK and they demand money. Kim Jong Ilk is just nutso enough to do something like this. Then we take our top people (especially President Merkin Muffley) and put them away safely deep in mine shafts and try and avoid having a mine shaft gap while Major Kong flies deeper into NK... no wait... wrong movie... :-) |

Of course, it would take a couple of things to happen before that is possible. The DPRK would need to start breeding a _lot_ more fuel for reprocessing, (Which isn't an inste (re)process. The announcement by the DPRK that they have sufficient fissionables comes at about the right time for them to have reporocess what hey had on hand last spring, when they announced that they were beginning to reprocess. They'd have to get a pile of Cobalt-Thorium G. (Not available without a prescription) They'd also have to break their internal OMerta and actually tell someone. Why didn't you tell anybody." -- Pete Stickney A strong conviction that something must be done is the parent of many bad measures. -- Daniel Webster |
