Default Charlie Minner

Charlie Minner fell while on the way to the SSA Convention in Atlanta and
broke his femur above the knee. An operation to install a plate was
successful and the doctors say he can expect about a four-day stay in the
hospital.

He was in Big Springs, TX when the accident occurred and he was taken to the
University Medical Center at Texas Tech in Lubbock.

Scratch Lee, a tow pilot familiar to many US competition pilots, has been at
the hospital watching over Charlie.

Charlie has been a fan of sailplane racing for many years and his
contributions to our sport have endeared him to the pilots and crews who
admire his tenacity despite a life-long disability from polio.

We're cheering for you "Lite"!

Charlie,

get well soon! We hope to see you this summer. A contest wouldn't be
the same without you running the scale.
Here's to Scratch for watching over Charlie!

1.) Please remember that you are now a married man -- so you really need to
stop flirting with all the pretty nurses.
2.) Really, I mean it...I know the nurses think you are cute but you need to
behave responsibly in a hospital.
2.) Get well soon. Our best wishes are with you

Steve (PSU)
