1-26 Nationals?
So, by now we should have chosen a new National Champion. Unfortunately, the SSA Website and the 1-26 Association Website are silent on that subject. It looks like they flew today, so I'm assuming there are scores. Anyone have the scoop?

1-26 Nationals?
Yeah but, what I'm seeing there is only through Day 6. It does now look like the SSA Website finally has scores, though they are still Unofficial.

1-26 Nationals?
Harry Baldwin was the only past champion to finish today's Champion of Champions task, winning this first time contest between the 5 current and past 1-26 champions who were in this years contest. Awesome!

Now they have managed to take the 1-26 results and reports completely off
the SSA website.... Duh??? Cookie At 09:13 31 August 2013, Bob Cook wrote: What? I can make no sense out of your sentence... Results are still there. Just click on the "Results and Reports" link on the "Sailplane Racing" tab of the website. You can find all past race reports and results going back to 1997 on that page.

Awesome! this year was the first time that a "Champion of Champions" race was included in the 1-26 Championships. All past and present champions that were in Moriarty were invited. The race was an assigned task and Harry Baldwin (4 time Champ) was the only one of the 5 (Sazhin, Schwartz, Von Hellens, Hurni, and Baldwin) to make it around the course, thereby winning the trophy and being crowned Champion of Champions. We were are really happy for him! |
