Next Time I Do Fabric Work on an Airplane
I'll use Airtech, not Stits, now known as Polyfiber. The latter is a great
process, don't get me wrong. It's just that Airtech is better, simpler, easier and produces superior results. *And* it lasts and lasts. Take a look at a 10- or 15-year-old Airtech cover and you'll see why. As for the Stits manual by Goldenbum, it's a little like tight pants on a shapely woman: What it reveals is helpful but what it conceals is fundamental. Thank goodness for competition. If Goldenbum went around buying up competitors like Brunton did, we'd be in a fix. |

Have you heard of anyone using the Hipec system? I have heard good things
about it, but am trying to hear from anyone who has used it. -- Gordon. "Larry Smith" wrote in message ... I'll use Airtech, not Stits, now known as Polyfiber. But, please do not put me in his class just because I do, O-ring. I kinda like being your "hero". ) Latchless Larry has a 'hard-on' for Brunton that does not deserve to be expanded upon. http://www.steenaero.com/flying_wires.cfm http://www.airbum.com/articles/Flyingwires.html BOb U. |
