I have been told that the the Mile-High 2-32 at Boulder,
Co was converted back from one of these. I have seen
a Lockheed badge on that ship. Anyone have the story
on this?

There was one of these planes sitting at Eastsound, Washington a few years ago.
Anyone know if it is still there?

back to a glider.

Stewart, the 2-32 at MHG is/was a QT-2PC. The QT program was the
development and test program for the YO-3A. The Y0-3A is quite different.

See these links for more.

http://www.ais.org/~schnars/aero/x-planes.htm

http://www.photovault.com/Link/Techn...raft/YO3A.html

I get to fly 2472W regularly and think that it is pretty cool to get to fly
both a glider that served in Vietnam and that was also an x-plane - assuming
that the info above is true.
