Default Sigtronics conversion

I have a Sigtronics SPA400 intercom. I would like to upgrade to a
stereo system. On their web site Sigtronics states that the upgrade
path to an intercom like the SCI 4S is uncomplicated in that the wiring
harness from the old intercom can be reused and all that is necessary
is to rewire the phone jack for stereo.

Has anyone out there done this and what was the outcome.

Thanks.

Paul
