Default Two seat jet self launch video

Here's the latest video of the TST-14J BonusJet launching at Moriarty,
NM. Field elevation 6200', density altitude 9300'. Performance is
awesome! Also notice the lack of effort required for the startup ;o)

Beautiful. OK jealous motorglider pilot would like to know what is
your typical ground roll and distance over 50' (at sea level/ISA and
those density altitudes?).

Thanks

At 9300' density altitude, ground roll with single occupant and 22
gallons fuel is about 600'. We haven't measured 50' obstacle
clearance, but I'm guessing less than 1000'. Sea level performance is
much better. Calculated roll at ISA is under 500' at MTOW. We're
planning to do a full test series (near sea level) this fall.

Bob
