Default starting in the industry

I am about to start my career in aviation, flying helicopters. and am
looking for some feed back on the industry and what it's like to land
that first job after completing my training. I hold my licences in
fixed wing but never followed it as a career, but i understand how hard
it is in the fixed wing field is it the same in the rotor wing
industry? help.

have a nice day all......
