Default Insurance exclusions???

I just got my renewal policy from AIG. In the section on War, Hi-jacking and
other exclusions it this exclusion.

"Any malicious act or act of sabotage"

It seems to be that this means if my plane is vandalized, broken into, or
even stolen that it will not be covered!

Almost any act by a person that resulted in damage or loss would be
construed as malicious.

Does everyone have this exclusion on their policy?

Cheers:

/snip/

Don't forget, Paul: 1)Payment of claims cuts directly into corporate
profits! 2)Any payment of claims could be construed as to be beneficial
to the customer! These are *BIG* no-no's in the insurance industry.

That might work, but I would check directly with AIG.

My policy excludes "War, strikes, riots, or civil commotion"

Just curious: When you say "from AIG", do you mean USAIG, as in United
States Aircraft Insurance Group, or AIG, as in American International Group?

If you have a claim nothing the agent or AIG tells you on the phone will apply.
Only the wording in the policy is relevant.

Not really. If my plane accidentally got away from me and chewed
up your plane, that would not be malicious. If you bounced a landing
and tore off your nose gear, that wouldn't be malicious either, unless
you did it on purpose.
