Default Cross Country Glider Transportation

Hi All,

Just wondering if I could get some ideas and recommendations regarding transporting a sailplane from Southern California to Georgia. Does anyone know of a service that specializes in this kind of thing? Thanks.

Bryan,

There have been many discussion on this topic over the past few years, I have not needed to move a glider so have no personal experience, but if you search in the forum you will see many suggestions.

uship.com I've heard mentioned many times (including my consideration of bringing a glider from Ontario to Alberta). Didn't use them, but heard the company from a few folks.

I used uship.com to get a 1-26 trailer from Moriarty NM to Cincinnati OH. No problems, but the trailer was empty. Cost was $750 to the driver, and $80 to uShip. Very reasonable.
