FS: LX-5000 FAI v. 11

LX-5000 FAI version 11. This is the very latest LX-5000 (when
discontinued in late 2003, the LX-5000 was only up to version 10). This
unit has hardware and firmware equivalent to that used in the LX-7000.
Includes December 2004 Jeppesen USA/Canada database.

LX sent this unit as replacement for a unit that had a problem the
factory could not duplicate. The unit appears to be brand new, though
it possibly is an older unit that was reconditioned and upgraded to the
latest hardware and software. It has not been used since received from
LX, except to attach everything and connect to a battery to confirm that
it works.

Included with the package: LCD vario (less than 2 years old); GPS
antenna (6 months old); brand new wiring harness (including temperature
sensor); and external speaker (of unknown age but in good condition).

For $4,295 at Wings & Wheels, you can get practically the same unit (but
