Namely, more shared ownership, less private (1 person) ownership, and either a shift towards owners in a higher income bracket, or fewer owners overall as the ones struggling with the expense drop out. I'm not sure I care about any (predicted) airplane valuation decrease. My airplane was paid off long ago and I own it to fly it, not as some kind of investment. I easily put back in its original purchase price every 7 years or so in expenses and upgrades. The only day it will matter is when I lose the ability to fly or die. I may get more or less cash back, but the expense stream will come to a halt. Either way, I will spend less (or be deceased ).Good Luck, Mike |
