Long March into Space - index.jpg (1/1) [30K]
We don't see much space stuff here apart from the occasional post of NASA
pictures so this set is a bit of a change of pace. The photographs show the launch of a PRC Chang Zheng (Long March) rocket. If you were paying attention, you might have noticed that a Chang Zheng launched China's third Beidou navigation satellite a couple of weeks ago. Beidou means Big Dipper (the Plough) and shouldn't be confused with Baidu, the Chinese search engine which has recently upset Google.
