They got the eight Su-34 in December 2003 - or more precise - this
aircraft had his first fligth in december 2003.

Because of logistc reasons it has some avionic parts identical with Su-27SM.
The first fife SM-upgrades where ordered y2000 and also delivered
december 2003. Further 20 was ordered, they will get seven instead of
ten back this year. RFAF has foundig problems altough the upgrade is
believed to cost only about USD 4 million per airframe.

I cannot see any "series production" who will find there way into
regular military use - only testframes more or less all with different
avionic standards now.
