Armed CAP today 9-11-04?

I watched a KC-10 orbit over Chicago for several hours today. Happened around
noon local. I heard trailing jets, but could not pick them out in the thin
overcast.
Anyone else see the same? Was there any news of a CAP or such anywhere in the
US? Or was this the inflight entourage for nearby Presidential visits?

Could be an exercise, could be normal operations, could be for good reason.
The point is our enemies don't know.
