In most states in the U.S. the threat has to be plausible. Then again the FBI
and Secret Service take as serious any threat made against the president.

All true: some folks just can't get over it. There were what-five different
recounts done by news organizations (AP, Washington Post, Miami Herald, Florida
Today, CNN, and Fox News) and they all had Bush the winner (one by only about
a hundred votes). Of course, the only count that counts is the one done by
the state of Florida, and Bush won by 537 votes.
