Repost a larger file please Glenn. This would be excellent wallpaper for my
22" monitor.
Where were you? In another airplane? If you were on the ground what lense
are you using now?
Thanks, Jim

Jim, sending you a larger file via email.
It was taken from the ground. I had been advised by "simmo" Sabre Pilot what
he was doing, and I had worked out exactly where I needed to be. I didn't
quite make it, I positioned myself at a location to get the Sabre and Hornet
take offs. They both used different runways so I was moving a lot, and tried
desperatly to get to the place I was supposed to be. I ended up jumping out
while the car was still moving and managed to get this shot as they passed
over head. I think it probably turned out better than what I had intended to
get anyway :-)

Glenn, I love this photo - and seeing WGCDR A.M. Parer's name on the
canopy revived some very happy memories. Mick Parer was a good mate
of mine in the RAAF. Not only was he a really nice guy, but also one
of the most professional military pilots I've ever met. Unfortunately,
he died about 4 years ago from a motor neuron type of disease, just
when he was getting his "retirement" life properly organised. RIP
Mick.
