Hi,
Trig just increased the price of the TT21 transponders. The new price is
$2095 - which is still a very good price for a Mode S transponder with
built-in altitude encoder.
I have 2 units remaining in stock at the old price. Contact me for details.

Is the TT22 going up in price as well?

Hi Noel,
No. That price was established at the new level when it was introduced a
month or to ago. It remains at the $2395 price. It will be interesting to
see how many glider pilots will pay the additional $300 to get a unit legal
for use up to 35,000 ft.

Which begs a question:
Do Mode S transponders let ATC know what altitude they are certified
to?

Hi Jim,
I don't think so. But for only $300 extra it may make sense to go to the
high-power version if you plan to fly higher than 15K often.
