ISTR that you once said this airplane was slower than other 172RG's. Did you
ever figure out why?

I had a small exhaust leak in one cylinder. The cylinder was developing full
compression, but still did not seem to be performing properly. I discovered
this after the cylinder cracked. I replaced it with a new one.

I felt a little like that when I sold my Italian sports car to buy my
Arrow-II... until I thought "I'd get more use out of the PA28R than I
do out of the Fer..." I must admit that it didn't really console me
that much, but hey...
