Hi,
since this is discussed here frequently:
- Diamond has selected the Williams FJ-33 powerplant for its D-Jet
- Thielert claims to have 50 Centurion 1.7 diesel engines flying in the
hand of customers, 40 of which in Diamond DA40 Stars, 10 in converted
172s. They have racked up 5000 hours so far. Early cooling and fuel
flow problems in the DA40 have been corrected, they say.

What percentage of the European delivered Diamond DA40s are being delivered
with Thielert engines? When is Diamond going to start offering the Thielert
engines in the US market?

I don't know, I was just quoting from two news releases. I would guess about
50 percent, but that's a WAG.
Your second question is one to pose to the FAA, which is stalling the
certification of the engine, AFAIK.
