So if one is interested in doing anything but the
standard paint job, they should be pretty sure what
it is going to look like.

We've seen the ones that "looked like a good idea" on paper.

I'm looking for a 3D CAD model for the BE-33. I've seen
one for the V tails.

This could be used with a paint program.

Failing that, there must be a 2D model available.

Any ideas?? I'd pay real money.

I'd check over on the flight simulator forums. There is a lot of plane
repaint activity and AutoCad is used as a front end for a lot of third party
model development. You could probably find someone who would repaint a
model of your plane and you could see what it looked like flying.
