Does anyone know of portable moving map software that I can use on my
laptop computer? I would like to use the anywhere map software, but they
have yet to give me a response if it will work on my laptop.

Thanks Tony

Take a look at PocketFMS. FREE from Pockefms.com

You plan your flights on desktop and download them to your Pocket PC (PDA).

www.pocketfms.com

Besides: Why do you chose "PDA" as a subject, when you ask about laptops?

Not quite! It's donation ware - you donate as much as you deem
appropriate if you like and use it.

How long do you think this one guy in the Netherlands will continue his
effort if no one ever donates anything?

Well, PocketFMS does just that. It works the same on both a laptop and a
PocketPC.

I keep making my databases for CoPilot, GPSPilot, GPX and AeroCalc, and as
far as I can tell only the CoPilot users actually donate anything more
than a pittance. I think I average about 4-5 donations a month from
CoPilot users, and fewer than 4-5 donations a year from the rest of them
put together.

C isn't that hard: void (*(*f[])())() defines f as an array of
unspecified size, of pointers to functions that return pointers to
functions that return void.

Paul,

you're in a similar situation as Rob Weijers is. Your product is great
- and it isn't free. But many people don't get it.

What an unbelievable dilemma for Mr. Dunniho.

Thomas,
Yes, you are correct that it is donationware. However, If you go to the
web page, The page banner says "The free Flight Planning & Moving Map
solution for private Pilots". Later on the intro page you will see "The
software is free, but a small donation will be appreciated.". And yes,
we even see your name there as a contributer.
I plan on making a 'donation' after my first flight using PocketFMS. I
also plan on making smaller donations a couple times a year when I
update my databases for FREE.
Also waiting for the ability to reverse a plan.
It is a really great piece of software.

I tried the Pockefms.com address and came up empty. Anybody have a good
address? (I know it was up before but I didn't catch it before I dropped
the message)

That one works great, hope others needed it to. If not, sorry for the
