A busy month it's been for the Rogue's Gallery! (For those who may be new
here, the Rogue's Gallery is a website where you can post pictures of your
airplane for the rest of us rec.aviation propeller-heads to admire. Since
none of us can "see" each other here in text-based Usenet, the Rogue's
Gallery fills a void that could not otherwise be filled...)
The site is http://alexisparkinn.com/rec_aviation.htm . We now have
pictures from 85 rec.aviation participants (and their aircraft), as well as
pix from the annual rec.aviation Pinckneyville fly-in and the annual Oshkosh
rec.aviation party! Counting the folks in those pictures, you can now see
well over 100 rec.aviation "regulars" (and some "irregulars") at the site!
There were four additions in September:
- Jim Weir, from Grass Valley, CA, added a couple of new pix (taken in
Hanna, Wyoming) of their 1958 Cessna 182 after it experienced engine trouble
on their way home from OSH...
- Jon Kraus, from Carmel, Indiana, added his gorgeous '79 Mooney M20J...
- Tony Roberts, of Kelwona, B.C., Canada, sent in his beautiful '67 Cessna
Skyhawk...
- Nathan Young, of Lake of the Hills, Illinois, contributed pix of his
terrific '71 Piper Cherokee 180.
If you'd like to post pictures of you and your bird for the rest of us to
admire, simply email a handful of pix and a short biography to me at
