A corner of the wing step "tread" is peeling up on my Cherokee 180. Is there
a particular glue or epoxy to use/stay away from? I can just see a big
chemical hole being eaten right through my wing... ;-)

Thanks!

There's stuff made for that specifically. I think it's calle Wing
Walk. Spruce will have what you need.

Steve,
Is it strips or one "piece"?
if it is one piece it was painted on wing walk compound.
Strips 3M Scotch 1300L.

It's like 2 pieces. Each about 2.5 feet long & 1.5 feet wide. They "overlap"
a bit right in front of the door jam. Where the top/front one lays on top of
the bottom/back one, it's rolling up a bit on the outside corner.

I've got a billion pics of the plane but no good ones of the wing tread.

I just had my Cherokee painted this summer. They used a single-piece
wing walk. It had the adhesive already installed - just had to clean
the surface, peel, and apply.

.... and then you end up with peeling problems on the wing walk. The stick on
wing walks are crap, they tend to peel. They should be painted on...
