When I talked to KD Aviation (the guys that painted AOPA's Win-A-Twin) he
said he referred everyone to AirTex Interiors. Have you called around to
some reputable paint shops?

You might want to try Airborne Upholstery in Stroudsburg, PA (570) 476-
4640

I had my Baron done by Airmod in Batavia, OH, also the home airport for
Sporty's. They did an excellent job!

If you decide to go with an Airtek kit, I'd be happy to help you with the seats.
The stuff for my 150 went in pretty easily.

Airtex has a great reputation both for their kits and the installations that
they do, and they're in NJ, if I'm not mistaken. They lost their president / CEO
/ guiding light a few years ago. Are they still as good as they used to be?

We've used them, too. Seems like a reasonable company. We also use the
avionics shop in the same hangar, Airborne avionics. I guess they're
related, but don't know for sure.

If you haven't selected a shop yet, I suggest you check out Advantage
Interiors near Harrisburg. The did an awesome custom leather interior
for my Six that cost only a little more than the materials would have
cost me from Airtex.

Mic is a good person to deal with too, he'll basically do any
customization you ask for. The snapped on access cover for the ELT in
the last picture is an example of something extra I asked for
(previously there was no access at all)
