We're installing a new 'eyebrow' over the panel in our C172M. (From
Planeplastics). For anyone who has installed one of these before, what is a
recommended adhesive to secure the foreward end of the plastic eyebrow unit
to the top of the 'dashboard'. We have it snipped and trimmed out to sit
down flat, and can secure it on the front side behind the instrument panel
bezels. But I'm still curious how to attach it on the loose end. Like a
long strip of double sided tape? If this sounds too confusing I can post a
picture. :)

Go to an automotive paint supply store and get some body moulding adhesive
tape, basically a high-grade double sided tape. Of course the trick to
getting anything to stick and stay stuck is to get both surfaces really
clean.

Why not get some commercial "interlocking" tape (kind of like velcro,
only uses plastic instead of fabric)? That way it will be removable.
