View Full Version : spare tail dolly wheel assembly

I was sick and tired of getting flats on my tail dolly and having to fix this past summer. (Also not interested in solid tires due to the hard ride.) I found this and thought others might be interested. It is one heck of a deal for 20 bucks. Includes tire, tube, hub and axle. Works in a pinch so you can just swap and go fly - enabling you to fix the flat on your regular wheel at later time after you land. Just thought I would share and I'am not affiliated with this company.

I'll second that. I've bought a couple wheels from Monster Scooter and had good luck with them. Not sure I'd use them for a tailwheel, but for the dolly, they work great.

Nice to have int he trailer just in case.

but doesn't long too much, and must be replaced by your repaired wheel, at home.
