I just can't locate the correct size of Allen wrench that fits the OBS knob
retaining screws on my KI214 & KI201 indicators.
Would a member of the group enlighten me.
Thanks,

It probably isn't an allen wrench. It is likely to be a spline wrench. You
can find them here:

Well thanks Mike, you learn something every day, I'm an engineer as well and
never even heard of them.l
I looked at McMaster Carr and found them OK.
Next step is to find size and whether 4 or 6 flutes.

You sure it's not a torx wrench he's looking for?

Don't know about little airplanes, but on many of the larger ones the
knobs fasten with a .050" allen. That size is not commonly available
in those bags of allen wrenches you get at the hardware store.

It's not an allen, it's a spline. I had to go through about twenty little
wrenches before I found one that fit.

Thanks Jim,
I just bought a set of very small spline keys and hoping that one will fit.
Seems I may be in good shape when they arrive.
Thanks,
