Here are the web sites of two guys from Northern California flying solo
around the world. One, Dean Stahr flying a C-182RG Turbo, turns 80 in Nov,
the youngster, Bill Randolph flying an RV-8, turns 77 this fall.

My wife and I have talked to Dean on his satellite phone twice

Dean's site
gives a running log of his trip as of Cairns, Australia.

The Watsonville EAA site http://www.eaa119.org/ gives Bill's chronicle.

I should be doing so good as I get ready to turn 80!!!

I just checked both using the message posted and they both worked fine, Dean
in now in OMAN and Bill is in American Somoa and the folks in Fiji wouldn't
let him stay.
